Good Hotel for overnight stay, the location was excellent for the Bus & Train Station and also offered easy foot access to the city centre. The street location was very noisy if you left the windows open! Therefore it would be worth paying for an AirCon room option!
The Hotel offered exactly what we expected, although the mid town street location was very noisy.

The location is absolutely perfect! Since the hotel is located in the old town, the possibility to park the car in a nearby garage for only 8,- euros/24h (regular price 16,-) is also great. Breakfast is included and for Italian standards quite rich:) - there is a buffet with great coffee, tea, salami, mortadella, eggs, cereals, marmelades, paninis, toast bread, juices and even cakes. Concerning the rooms, they have all you expect of a 2* hotel, most importantly they are clean, just as the shared bathroom. All in all, for the price and location it is a perfect hotel for short city trips, when you just want to spend time in the city and use the hotel to sleep. Would definately recommend it.

Nice people at the reception. Excellent location, between the train and bus stations and the city centre. Could hardly be better.
Well, for what I payed I think it was good, but of course I wasn't expecting big confort. What I disliked was that in the same building there is a house for elder people and I could here them complaining in the morning.

Location was walking distance from railway station. Hotel was basic but comfortable and staff were excellent. Hotel on thir d floor and with small liif.we were invited to take our. Bikes tom our room but left them safely on ground floor level. Hotel staff gave us all necessary directions, provided cold drinks at cost. Trieste is a beautiful city which doesn't get the tourist recognition It deserves. Thanks to Booked.net for having it on your booking system

Air Conditioning,,, Location great, thank goodness for the lift.
room was plain with popular laminate flooring, but it was very large and bed comfy, so not a great complaint really!

Found staff helpful and friendly . Room was cleaned everyday to a very high standard. Clean towels were offered everyday. Cheap and Cheerful.
Breakfast was disappointing. Chocolate madeira cakes don't really do it for me for breakfast. Noise from street below was quite load too. If the hotel was to get air conditioning and offer a better breakfast it would be perfect.

The best about hotel is its location, in the center of the city, pretty much close to everything. Price is great, breakfast for the price is also great, people in hotel nice, rooms are clean, bathroom too.
The only problem was, noise and voices of people from some residenza polifunzionale, center for the old people with disabilities which is in the same building, on the other floor, so every morning around 5 am or 6 am we were awakening with voices and screams of those sick patients. Anyhow for the price, we could manage that :)

Some positive points are: The hotel is located in the city center, at walking distance from the bus station. The rooms were quite big but unfortunately without a private shower. Surprisingly, breakfast was actually quite decent.
Very poor hostel/hotel. My main three complains are about the room cleanliness, the noise at night and the air-conditioning (which wasn’t there).

Close to the station and they happily kept the bags until my bus departed.
The light of shared bathroom did not work. Should be sorted out already.

Good price, nice staff (english spoken)
The slats on our bed broke making our sleep a little restless, but otherwise the rooms were adequate

Friendly staff, with lots of advice available. Good choice of breakfast items. Very central location - easy to get to various places. Had our own bathroom.
Just to be mindful of late arrivals, as reception only officially open until 11pm.
